Reading Renaissance
Savannah Grove students participate in a reading program called Reading Renaissance. Students are tested to determine their reading levels and then they select books on this level. They read the books and take computerized tests to determine basic understanding of the books. When students successfully complete the tests, they earn points. The points are tracked by the computer and students earn rewards at predetermined point levels. Parents may login to www.fsd1.org and then select Home Connect Renaissance Place to check on their child's progress. Parents may also select Book Finder from this site to find the names of books that are on their child's reading level.
