Meet the Principal
Mrs. Latonya Yates-Ford
I am Ms. LaTonya Yates-Ford, a native of Mullins, South Carolina, but currently reside in Florence. I have been in education for eleven years and served as an administrator in Marion County School District for three years. I was a classroom teacher, basketball coach, instructional technology coach, Marion County School District’s 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year, and an Assistant Principal. As an educator, I have facilitated and organized training for teachers to support the integration of technology and student achievement. In addition to earning a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, I have a master’s degree in Instructional Technology, both from Coastal Carolina University. It is my belief that every child can achieve success with the proper motivation and support.
I look forward to serving the students, staff, and community of Savannah Grove Elementary, as we continue winning hearts... winning minds... creating excellence!

These dollars are used to:

-
purchase additional staff, programs, materials, and/or supplies;
-
conduct parent and family engagement meetings, trainings, events, and/or activities.
